Family arts events abound this summer

Family arts events abound this summer

The Cambridge Arts Council is sponsoring all kinds of FREE dance, music, puppetry, theater, and movie events for families all Summer.

True or False
Which of the following are true of our fair city in the summer?
1. Restaurants and stores less crowded
2. More parking spaces and bike lane room available
3. No arts events for kids

You Guessed It!
If you guessed that 1 and 2 are true, and 3 is false, you’re absolutely right! Although some things generally slow down and get quieter here in the Summer, the Cambridge Arts Council has lined up all kinds of FREE dance, music, puppetry, theater, and outdoor movie events in parks across the city this summer.

Designed for Kids
“These events – sponsored in partnership with business associations across the city - are primarily designed for kids aged four to twelve,” according to Jason Weeks, Executive Director of the Cambridge Arts Council (CAC) “but we hope residents of all ages will enjoy them. “
