Join us for a screening of work produced by teens in CCTV's Summer Media Institute on Wednesday, August 12
Join us on Wednesday August 12 at 6 pm at the MIT Museum for a screening of work produced by teens in CCTV's Summer Media Institute.
The Summer Media Institute, or SMI, is a six-week media arts and work experience program run in collaboration with the Mayor's Youth Employment Program and Cambridge Community Services' CityLinks Program.
Since 1991, the Summer Media Institute, which is the cornerstone of CCTV's year round Youth Media Program, has empowered hundreds of teens to create media about who they are and what they believe in. Each summer, as teens work in paid positions as media artists, they gain valuable job skills and knowledge about the working world. Over the years, countless teens have been inspired to pursue educational and career opportunities related to communications, media and technology.
