Lesley University MFA in Creative Writing program presents: What Our "Failures" Teach Us.

We spend so much time as writers worrying about whether the particular piece is good or whether it’s done. But what do our failures teach us? And in this vein, are they “failures?” How do the stories/poems/essays/plays/books that we never finish — or that we finish but ultimately have to abandon — teach us about where we’ve been and where we still need to go? Perhaps it isn’t whether a piece is finished or publishable that matters but what we learn in the process.
