POSTPONED: Screening and Q&A for "Vision Portraits"

Lesley Art + Design proudly presents filmmaker Rodney Evans' documentary Vision Portraits about blind and visually impaired artists.

Saturday, March 21, 2020 - 4:00pm

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED.

Lesley Art + Design proudly presents filmmaker Rodney Evans' documentary Vision Portraits about blind and visually impaired artists followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker and Animation faculty Bill Porter. Free and open to the general public. Concurrent screening with closed captioning and open audio description will be presented in room L-023.

VISION PORTRAITS is the personal story of filmmaker Rodney Evans (Brother To Brother, The Happy Sad) as he embarks on a scientific and artistic journey, questioning how his loss of vision might impact his creative future. Through illuminating portraits of three artists: a photographer, a dancer and a writer, the film explores how each artist is affected by the loss of their vision and the ways in which their creative process is changed or adapted.
