NEGATING ANY RIGHTS FOR CONVERSION INTO HOMELESS POVERTY HOUSING IN CAMBRIDGE,MA!

CRISIS AND ISSUES
HELLO EVERYBODY, I’M HASSON RASHID, I RESIDE AT 820 MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE. MY PUBLIC COMMENT IS IN REGARDS TO “ UNFINISHED BUSINESS# 4,” AND “LATE AGENDA ITEMS #1, ” AND ANY OTHER AGENDA ITEM THAT DIRECTLY AND INDIRECTLY RELATES TO HOMELESSNESS.

IN REGARDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL’S INTENTIONS ON INSERTING THE NEW CHAPTER 2.129, SO-CALLED “ WELCOMING CITY ORDINANCE,” INTO PUBLIC LAW. TO DO SO WOULD BE A GREAT DISSERVICE TO THE LOCAL HOMELESS SECTOR AND MOSAIC. IF OFFICIALLY ENACTED, THIS PROPOSED ORDINANCE WOULD WRECK FUTURE HAVOC ON AND IN ADDRESSING THE HOMELESS HOUSING CRISIS AND ISSUES THAT EXIST HERE IN CAMBRIDGE, MA. IT WOULD EVENTUALLY END UP PRODUCING SEVERE ADDITIONAL STRAINS, ON THE ALREADY OVER BURDEN LOCAL HOUSING MARKET AND STOCK, WHEN IT COMES TO “UNITS” FOR THE HOMELESS.

WHEN IT COME TO BUYING THE LOCAL NATIONAL ARMORY, AT THIS STAGE OF THE MATTER IT RESEMBLES THE VACANT STATE OF THE FOUNDRY BUILDING PROPERTIES, THE SULLIVAN COURT HOUSE PROPERTIES, THE VOLPE CENTER PROPERTIES, AND LET US NOT FORGET THE VAIL COURT PROPERTIES. ALL OF THESE PLACES WERE ALLOWED TO SIT IDLE AND UNOCCUPIED, UNTIL EMPLOYED FOR COMMERCIAL PROFIT MAKING PURPOSES. THUS UNFAIRLY NEGATING ANY RIGHTS FOR CONVERSION INTO HOMELESS AND OTHER ELEMENTS, AND FORMS OF POVERTY HOUSING, TO BE CONSIDERED AND ADDED.

FINALLY, THE SAME THING WILL HAPPEN WITH THE ARMORY, THAT IS ANOTHER DISSERVICE WILL BE DEALT TO AND PERPETRATED AGAINST THE HOMELESS SECTOR AND MOSAIC, RIGHT HERE IN CAMBRIDGE,MA. THANK YOU.
