Girls team from cambridge went wire to wire to win their game.

On this mild warm January evening, I set out to watch a basketball game at the War Memorial Gymnasium in Cambridge. The tilt was between the Home Team Cambridge Falcons against the visiting Fenway Team from Boston. The first of four quarters saw the falcons jet out to a 19-11 advantage .Amaya Fifield led the Falcons with 7 points on the strength of one three point bomb and two jump shots. Fenway was lead by Kayana Armbrister who scored 5 points. The second quarter was when Cambridge opened up an 18 point lead. This period had Kizziah, Ruff and Cianio-taylor Mcdonald each talling 5 points. Janujah bulley led the Fenway scoring with 5 points of her own. So at halftime the falcons went into the locker room with a 36-18 lead The second half started and due to the excellent ball handling skills of Amaya and Kizziah , the home team outscored the visitors 21-7. Heading into the fourth and last stanza things looked bleak for Fenway. By mere grit alone and due to their hustling up and down the court they were able to go toe to toe with the Falcons. Fenway scored 12 points while holding their opponents to 12 points as well. The game ended and the final score read Cambridge 69 and Fenway 38. Fenways top scorers were Armbrister with 11 points and Bulley with a team leading 14 points. Much kudos go oiut to the leading scorers for the Cambridge Falcons. Ruff, on the strength of three 3 points field goals with a game high 16 points.
