Annualy there is a holiday concert at the Lily Pad in Cambridge. The Lily Pad in Cambridge. The Lily Pad is the host to this musical bash. tunefoolery; a band comprised of recovering mental health musicians. For the first tune Michelle played the flute and was backed up by Yens guitar. As the two played the spiritual song Emanuelle one could not help notice the audience so attentive and some were swaying to the beat. Nexr up Richard, the piano player. The tempo was about to change. He rocked about Santa is coming to town. Clapping in unison took over the crowd. Another change was about to take place here at the Lily Pad. Trudy was about to play some much loved Chanukkah songs. Tony was set to back her uo on the base. The song Trudy played was an inspirational number about some positives in life such as dreams coming true and that although life can be hard, miracles do happen. The third act was presented by Amy. With the accompanied of her guitar, played a song called "Mary did you know". Her next song entitled "This Christmas " held the audience captive. These lyrics help to remind us about peace on Earth and goodwill to men. Westley Thomas, the first ever opera singer to song in tunefoolery was up next. He was just wonderful in his rendittion of "Amazing Grace".the amazing thing to this writer was that a partial part of the song was done in his native Indian tongue. Next came an ansamble of all tunefoolery musicians playing "Blue Christmas" and "I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus". The sudience was joyful with each passing song. "Jingle Bell Rock" had them dancing in the aisle with each passing song. My pen was moving and tapping to the beat. To finish the show, we were all given a songbook to belt out the carols for this holiday season. The show came to an end with hearty handshakes and heartfelt hugs.
