The Theory of Music Scoring

The Theory of Music Scoring

In this class, we will explore some of the rudiments of music and its relationship to visual media.

Thursday, February 6, 2020 - 6:00pm

Whenever original music is written especially for a film or video, it's known as a score. Digital music software has made it possible for media makers to create their own scores without ever having played an instrument before. In this class, we will explore some of the rudiments of music and its relationship to visual media. Students will have the opportunity to bring their unscored video projects to class, analyze their musical needs, and begin producing their own musical score.

2 Sessions - Thursdays, February 5th & 13th - 6-8:30pm - with Brad Glanden
