There is a new home for the Cambridge King school It has been relocated in Eat Cambridge. East Cambridge is also a homecoming for the Cambridge street Upper School .. The City manager Mr. Louis A. Di pasquale stated that this facility is the second of three new school. Complexes that are being constructed. In the King Complex there is a new branch library, a gold star pool, pre-school and community School Facilities. One Cambridge school official remarked that all students deserve the opportunity to experience the excitement that comes with intellectual discovery, and this new facility offer many new avenues for that type of exploration. One important priority for the school complex was to meet the social-economic needs of students. The Principal of the King Open School Darrel Wiliams said that his school has a very long commitment to what is known as project based learning. He talks about the New School and how the school has features such as hands on integrated and deep learning. There is natural light in this building also the school offers engaging outdoor learning spaces. He goes on to say 'We refer to their classrooms as small learning communities." Aside from the three r's the school offers theater arts and music programs Fernandez talks about how racism affects student learning.
