From the Witch City’s Hawthorne Hotel in Salem to the blood-stained Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast in Fall River, Baltrusis breathes new life into the long departed. Sumner McClain tells stories from the Afro-American tradition, as well as those taken from literature. His stories celebrate the human spirit.
