Part one of two about The usage of the Wellness Recovery Action Plan

As we are about to enter another decade; there have been so many new and improved treatments of what was once considered diseases that were not only untreatable but often times an outcome of death. One of the aforementioned diseases is depression .The Wrap program also treats anxiety as well. The usual way to treat these diseases is medication and talk therapy. Now thanks to PHD Mary Ellen Copeland, there is a treatment called WRAP; The Wellness Recovery Action Plan, which I will delve into in this cctv report.
This program is a structured system for monitoring uncomfortable and distressing feelings and behaviors. People who use this system indicate that it is working for them by helping them feel better more often. Also it improves the overall quality of their life. The program was developed by people who have been dealing with these illnesses for quite some time. WHOW CAN USE WRAP.? The answer is easy. It can be used by anyone who wants to have positive change in how they feel .Also to increase their enjoyment of life.
The example I'll teach is to make you aware of how this plan can help, when trying to avoid a condition that seems to be rampant in our fast paced soceity. It is called Burn-out.It is named such because you've been working too hard or being under too much stress and not taking any time to take good care of yourself. If this not addressed it shall interfere with day to day functioning. It may also cause serious illnesses such as those we are discussing here. In attempting to stop burnout, one may try harder, but this strategy is bound to fail. Your plans may include resting, getting a good nights sleep, having a variety of creative activities, avoiding stressful activities, giving self permission to say no when appropriate. In next months story will go over the nuts and bolts of the Wrap Program.
