HASSON RASHID SPEAKS OUT AND RESPONSE TO: "Police board drags its heels, ducks questions on commissioner actions that alarmed ACLU By Marc Levy Friday, February 1, 2019."(2/5/19)!

Peace Be Unto You:

The truth of the matter is that there is another side of the candle regulation business, that isn’t being touched on by the fire department and city administrators, etc., during the time when the fire department came down initially on the restaurant owners for so–called violations, that resulted in banning the burning of candles in Cambridge, as reported in the Cambridge Day, by Marc Levy on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.

During that time here in Cambridge, religious communities and congregations, such as communities of Jewish, Christians, Kwanzaa, Hindi, Muslims, etc., were preparing to engaged in their annual end of year holiday seasonal religious activities, that require the burning of candles. How do you think they felt and re-acted to the fire department’s decision to ban candles? Yes this did affect local communities of religions, and this is the truth that is being covered up or hidden from the public at large here in Cambridge, MA.

Candle light vigils will also be affected by this candle banning regulation, if allowed to stand against “First Amendment Religious Rights,” etc., in which many vigils are held here in Cambridge, even on the steps and lawn of city hall. Muslims Americans and other religious assemblies participated in candle light vigils all across the state and nation on December 21, in the annual “Longest Night of the Year,” memorial and commemoration, of the homeless that died out in the cold due to being unable to find shelter during the winter months, and other inter-faith candle light vigils and gatherings

Finally, I conclude, Stop concealing and hiding the whole truth, from the public at large. You know this truth runs vertically and horizontally equally with “First “Amendment Violations” that the City of Cambridge was guilty of against the “Cambridge Women’s March” last January 2018.

Yours In Peace
