For those of you familiar with CCTV, I thought I would get you up to date in all that you need to know. Firstly CCTV stands for Cambridge Cable Television. In order to become a member, thisi is the way to do it. If you are a Cambridge resident one would have to pay $75. If you are not residing in Cambridge, you need to pay out $37. Once you become a member you can have your won television show; either 27 or 57 minutes.The topic of your show is entirely up to you. Another way to contribute is to write two stories per month about anything having to do with Cambridge. such as a particular person or establishment to name a few things you could write about. Once you became a writer you are eligible to take classes for free ! GREAT DEAL!! There are many classes; all taught by experience teachers. First there are beginning classes to get you familiar with things like editing, production, lights and audio to name a few. One of the most popular classes is introduction to podcasting. This March there will be a one-time crash course which will help you get started to create a podcast of your own You'll learn what podcast is best suited for you and what kind of stories you c an tell through podcasting.
Another very interesting class is entitled music for film and visual media. Briefly, this is a course which introduces the concept of how music can accompany visuals. There are other seminars and workshops as well as resources and classes for non-progits, another popular class is the classes for fifty and over.
