Urgent & Crucial Need For Healing Of The Country: After Vote On November 6

“I came that ye might have life, and life abundantly: but the devil came to kill, steal and destroy.”

The country must come together and unite
Black, white, Jew or Gentile, Muslin, etc.
Whether democrats won or lost
Whether republicans won or lost
The two parties must come together
In a by-partisan way
To solve the nation's deepening struggles
Tearing the nation apart

What are the problems?
Hate
Division
Racism
Comprehensive immigration reform
Jobs, economy, exploding deficit
Health care
Gun control
Opium addiction
Climate & environmental crises, etc.

Inability to come together
In a by-partisan way, but instead
To continue divisive, political, affiliations
That avoid the truth
That avoid the conscience
And render life’s goals and destinies
As if it is only about money, power, and sex

Not
About goals, visions and destinies of the nation
About, compassion, love, unity of the nation
About solving problems diving and rattling the nation
Nothing gets done by partisan politics eventually

Will
Finally crumble the American empire
The crumble will lead to “Third World War Nuclear”

Poems Of Hope For Our Turbulent Time:
Amarachi Ruth

Kindness to others:

Kindness is the highest state of man
When his mind is exalted
When his mind is joyful
because
He made someone happy
He changed circumstances
He changed destinies
He or she acted like God
Oh
Kindness is the essence of life
The center of gravity
The joy of life
The freshness of youth
They are joyful who are kind
They are blessed who are kind
They are rewarded who are kind

Peace:

Peace runs in the core of human existence
Peace is everything humans need
Like breathing to humans
So is peace to humans
Without
Peace, humans exist in fear
Confusion
Hate
Human achievement remains irrelevant
Human life remains unfulfilled
So
Follow the way of peace
Follow the way of Jesus
For Jesus is the Truth
Truth is peace
Follow the way of peace

Peace & Our Turbulent World:

Where is peace?
Peace has fled from us
We must find her
She has fled from us

Where is peace in our turbulent world?
She has fled from us
She is not found in money and riches
She is not found in business acumen
She is not found in intellectual pursuits
She is not found in intellectual ingenuity
She is not found in fame and fortune
She is not found in democracy
She is not found in communism
She is not found in nationalism
She is not found in fascism
She is not found in socialism
She is not found in any form of government

Where is peace in our turbulent world?

She is only found in truth
She is found only in the God of Truth
Who calls humans to follow the way of truth

Where is peace in our turbulent world?

The way of truth is the way of peace
Peace is to love God and your neighbor

Political Oppression:

In an oppressive society
Justice cries deep within
The cry of mental torture
Like a captive, the mind is chained
Longing for freedom
You can’t hold it
You can’t suppress it

Because the human mind was not created to be chained
It is the cry of freedom akin to the human mind
It is the cry that never quells
It must find expression or it explodes
It is the cry of revenge
It is the cry of twisted truth and lies
It is the cry of bondage
Like the steam, it must find an outlet
Oh
It is the cry of freedom
Grounded and embedded in truth
For truth is freedom

Riches:

What is my riches
When my life is not rich
When my life like a dry leaf
Squeezed and blown away
And refuses to bloom
And enrich others

What is my riches
When my life is not rich
When my life like a stagnant puddle
Stinks with my riches
And refuses to enrich others

What is my riches
When my life is not rich
When my relationships
Like a scanty leaf
On a summer tree
Yearns for moisture
Of human touch
That enriches others

What is my riches
When my life is not rich
When hollow inside
Like a hole in my lungs
Puffs up hot air
That hurts others

Sacrifice:

Those who are loved by the Lord
Are those who go the extra mile
To love the Lord with all their heart
And refuse to compromise with sin

Those who love those who hate them
Those who give when there is nothing to give
Those who forgive
When it is impossible to forgive
Those who pour their lives to enrich others
Oh
It is the highest calling
Of the Christian faith
Are those who go the extra mile
To glorify God
Regardless of the odds
Regardless of the outcome

A song writer reminds us:

Only Remembered:

“Fading away like the stars of the morning
Losing their light in the glorious sun
Thus we would pass from this earth and its toiling
Only remembered by what we have done”
Horatius Bonar-1808
