Peace Be Unto To You,

Hello Everybody, I’m Hasson Rashid, I reside at 820 Massachusetts Avenue, my public comment is on Committee Report#1(http://cambridgema.iqm2.com/Citizens/SplitView.aspx?Mode=Video&MeetingID...) and any other agenda item that directly relates to homelessness and neighborhood based resiliency. To begin with there is nothing firmly based concerning neighborhood homelessness. This report doesn’t do justice to the local homeless sector and mosaic, that is unbased in all of the local neighborhoods, as far as social homelessness and poverty housing is concerned.

What confuses me and is not transparent about this report is that who specifically was suppose to our is entitled to recover from difficulties, set backs, bounce back, return, from a lack of resiliency, neighborhood based resiliency. What segment of the community needs to more, than the homeless segment of local neighborhoods? The ideas of equity and inclusion, are not transparent enough pertaining to the homeless mosaic and sector, that can be found dispersed all over the local neighborhoods.

What about the resiliency to move forward with long range planning and justice, for the most vulnerable residents in the neighborhoods? I think the main social problems and concerns, are this lack of transparency when it comes to the homeless, a lack of transparency that can be found in other areas of the trajectory of city planning, such as the Envision Cambridge, City Budget, etc. I think that the homeless will continue to be unbased in the neighborhood and community, as long as our city’s policy makers and administrators, continue to exclude the need for construction and development of permanent housing for the homeless first and foremost, in its planning for the future of the local neighborhoods or municipality, and secondary related services to come later. Homeless resiliency is being stifled, and it’s evident in city agenda planning reports and studies, etc.

Finally, please find common ground to embrace the homeless sector and mosaic, completely in all future neighborhood reports, community, or municipal planning for the Cambridge, MA

Yours In Peace,
Mr. Hasson J. Rashid
Cambridge, MA
