Warning: Use This Tragic Incident Of Congressman Mass Shooting To Pass Gun Control Law

It is now crucial that Congress passes gun control law: if we don't, we will regret it someday. and it will be too late.

No one is immune to gun violence in America. Gun violence is out of control now. Everybody has a gun and many are living in fear in our culture today of been shot. Some states don't do gun-background check anymore now. Anybody can buy a gun. Reason: all for financial benefit of guns that make billions of money for N.R.A. Thousands of people die every year on gun violence in America. Millions of people have perished all over the world because of America and her allies gun-sale.

Why should it be only when a dangerous situation facing the nation affects Congressmen and women, or the rich that a change is thought about? Thousands have been killed in America by gun violence, and each time gun - control is raised, it is quickly crushed in Congress. If Congressmen and women are allowed to carry guns, will it solve gun violence? What about protection for the masses of people you vowed to protect who are your subjects? Our country will become a war zone should they be allowed to carry guns.

1 Argument about Second Amendment:

They are lots of arguments challenging the Second Amendment law in the Supreme Court in America because of gun violence. Michael Walden, who wrote: “Second Amendment Does Not Say What You Think It Does:”A Biography:" argues:

“Justice Antonin Scalia’s Helenistic decision is rooted in originalism, the concept that the Constitution should be interpreted based on the original intent of the founders. Waldman emphasizes that we must understand what the framers thought, he argues giving them the last word is impossible and impracticable.”

“We are not going to be able to go back in a time machine and tap James Madison on the shoulder and ask him what to do, he says. How the country has involved is important what the country needs now. That is certainly the case with something as important and implicated as guns in America.”

What is Walden trying to say?

He is saying those who wrote the Constitution lived in a different period of time in history that spurred them to write the amendment in regards to guns. It was in the Colonial period when America was struggling with her wars of Independence with Britain. The times have changed, and we must adjust the gun problem to suit the need of our own modern time if we must have a handle over this gun violence, and not use it for human profit, while thousands are dying every year: and no one is immune to these unnecessary killing.

2 Jesus On the same line of thought against the Pharisees in Biblical Times:

The Pharisees in the times of Jesus had multiplied and interpreted the law in so many ways that the law crippled the lives of the people. Plucking the ears of corn for example on Sabbath day was a violation of the law. The people became miserable and could not keep the numerous laws. They too could not keep the law, but penalized the poor who broke the law.

Jesus denounced them as “hypocrites.” They could not keep the law, and prevented others from keeping the law. Jesus told them:

“The law was meant for man, and not man for the law.”

We are back at a time like in the Biblical Times. Here is a law destroying thousands of people in America, and people are using it for their own profit: and it cannot be amended to meet the needs of the people they rule.

Each time gun control is mentioned in Congress, it is blocked by those who are benefiting from NRA who sponsors their political campaigns, forgetting thousands who are being killed, and the anguish it has caused families. These politicians forget the fear of God and their conscience. Now it has affected them, they are talking about gun safety for themselves for the first time, not even for the masses who put them in office. Is it not the same hypocrisy of the Pharisees in the Times of Jesus?

3 The uncertain and Strange times we live in:

The times we live in is very uncertain, turbulent and strange. It calls for wisdom, godliness and to walk with your conscience in your hand; especially, those who rule us in Congress: you must be careful the decisions you are making.
“Whatever you sow, you will reap.”

Leadership is freight with dangers. In Spiritual leadership, by Oswald Sanders, one of the greatest spiritual leaders in the Christian faith writing on wisdom says this:

“Wisdom is more than human acumen; is heavenly discernment. It is knowledge with insight into the heart of things – that knows them as they really are. It involves the knowledge of God and of the intricacies of the human heart. It is much more than knowledge. It is the right application of knowledge in moral and spiritual matters in meeting baffling situations, and in the complexity of human relationships.”

“Wisdom is nine to tenths a matter of being wise in time," said Theodore Roosevelt, Most of us are too often wise after the event.”

These are strange times: whoever is the ruler-spiritual, corporate, or political must be very careful what they do. Do what is just and right; fear God and be wise; stay away from evil and wickedness; seek to do good and alleviate the needs of the poor; seek what is just and right; and above all, as Congressman or woman, make decisions that seek to bring peace back to our world of confusion and turbulence; and God will prosper you and He will be glorified. Leadership has grave accountability before God. You either help prosper millions of your subjects, or you destroy them.
