"We can all be decent to one another, treat one another with respect and honor our differences, especially in this time of deep divisions and disagreements in the U.S... John Corcoran, Smart Business Revolution
In the recent presidential elections we witnessed behaviours from the two lead candidates that were unbecoming to the office of the 'Leader of the free world' i.e President of the United States.
Now that the dust has settled, we now seek healing for the entire country which was fractured by words, thoughts attitudes and beliefs by the candidates, their surrogates and followers. The unrest is evidenced by demonstrations in major cities across the USA, by young people who feel hurt, scared, confused and feel let down by the electoral system and more.
Healing comes when we are intentional to listen, forgive from the heart and also accept apologies when they are given. The process is not swift, because hurt feelings have to be processed, reset and we willingly have to continue the forgiveness process until we are unable to feel any hurt when the issue is remembered or the offender's name is called.
Another way to overcome is to intentionally love your opponent despite the way you feel.
The subconscious mind which runs our lives, listens only to what is thought, and emotions felt, and then reads the energy that is produced by such signals to interpret the meaning as ' more of that needed' and then dutifully delivers. This works whether we are thinking and feeling negative or positive thoughts. So we each need to be cautious about what we focus on and give emphasis to in our thoughts, words, emotions and beliefs

President Obama set a good example on the day following election day, Nov9,2016 when he called to congratulate and immediately offer to meet 2 days after election day with President Elect Donald Trump. In this gesture President Barack Obama who was born in Hawaii was honouring an ancient Hawaiian healing practice called Ho'oponopono. It involves the coming together of adversaries after a conflict( usually in the presence of tribal chiefs ) where they meet, talk and heal fractured relations, and intentionally express to each other" I love you,I'm Sorry, Please Forgive Me, Thank You.".
In so doing he was honouring the legacy of those who came before him, by doing his small part to make others' lives better, despite the fact that his adversary intentionally made life uncomfortable for President Barack Obama for 4 or more years of his eight year service as President of the USA, as well as derogatory comments about his presidency and more.

In business and other arenas of professional life, holding a grudge , keeping score of wrongs done and compiling an enemy list hurts only the grudge bearer and scorekeeper. It does not advance or support community building or forging dynamic relationships, nor does it serve to depict the grudge bearer as a person of high honour, (i.e child of God ) or someone who builds bridges of harmony.
For entrepreneurs, business owners , people seeking to positively influence the lives of others, or who are seeking to attract more clients, the understanding and practice of the basics of Ho'oponopono is key. Because people don't care about how much you know until they know how much you care.
If you are a Business owner, or entrepreneur who wants to 10X your earnings through attracting more clients and subsequently increased business, which will give back back more time to be with your loved ones, then learning the fundamentals of Ho'oponopono is essential.
"You'll discover through guided step-by-step lessons, Modern Ho'oponopono takes the ancient Hawaiian healing practice one-step further, unlocking an ability to heal both yourself and others, by simply cleaning away your own memories, erasing the data of the mind, and allowing multi-dimensional light into the conscious and subconscious mind."
Ho'oponopono also allows the person who practices it to carry out their divine purpose in a magnanimous and noble manner, as we should 'be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to become angry and quick to forgive as the Lord has forgiven us'.
I am receiving my certification as a practitioner for this amazing practice, and would love to talk to you if this is something that you would love to learn.
