New works made by CCTV's own members air each week on Channel 9, Sundays at noon and Fridays at 7pm, and on Channel 96 Tuesdays at 1pm and Thursdays at 9pm. This week:

Hands Cambridge, in which participants of all ages, walks of life, and skill levels in the Cambridge community came together to learn and play one complete song on the piano.

Next, watch Johnny Berosh's Variety Show: Johnny Berosh needs to get off the couch! Join him as he falls into a mid-afternoon nap and dreams of becoming the Master of Ceremonies at a burlesque and vaudeville show. His dream takes him no further than the Lilypad in Inman Square, where burlesque dancers, a strongman, and microphone suggests, “To dream is to be.”

On Channel 8 Monday 10/12 at 5:15pm and Wednesday 10/14 at 10:50pm, The Wondrous Success of Junot Diaz, in which City Councilor Ken Reeves spoke with local author and Pulitzer Prize winner Junot Diaz, at the Central Square Theater in 2009.

Channel Zero is a punk rock talk show coming from San Francisco hosted by former Boston area punk guitarist, Erika Ransom. Catch episodes on Channel 8, Wednesday 10/14 beginning at 4:30pm, Thursday 10/15 beginning at 3:15pm, and Friday 10/16 at 7pm.

Get some good recommendations on where to get a decent bite to eat around the city -- with a marathon of Cambridge Bites on Channel 8, Thursday 10/15, midnight-1am.
