With twenty years of excellence and notoriety under its belt, Cambridge Community Television has archived decades of local television programming, from political mudslinging by elected officials to embarrassing cooking shows starring, most probably, your neighbors. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, CCTV will screen samples of its most famous programming gems since opening in 1988, including coverage of local historic events, locally famous personalities, and other programs that captured the greatness of Cambridge on television. Also included are the programs that put Cambridge on the map for different reasons altogether, such as gratuitous frontal nudity, the violation of frozen poultry, and a bunch of other shows that prompted residents to file complaints (fruitlessly) with the FCC.

"It is because of people like you that we have been able to produce successful and award-winning programs." - Local producer, 1990

"It said it was not appropriate for children but I would rather it say 'not fit for humans!'" - Viewer, 2000

"I want to thank you for bringing quality programming to our city, especially your documentation of the historic renovations in Central square!" - Viewer, 1995

"I would raise a glass to toast you and all those at CCTV for your great contribution to our city." - Alice Wolf, 1996

"I would like to see anyone who has anything to do with this show behind bars." - Viewer, 2004

"Don't worry about it. Defending the First Amendment is generally a fun way to spend time. Keep up the good work." - Vice Mayor Ed Cyr, 1992
