Learn the process by making a digital video profile - interviews, b-roll, lighting, storytelling, and composition!

Tuesday, July 29, 2014 - 6:00pm to 9:00pm

Check out some of Instructor Richard Hawke’s digital video profiles here:

This class is intended to guide students through the process of making a short video profile. The class will concentrate on profiling people, starting with an interview and then complementing it with “b-roll” footage. Students will learn interview, lighting, and composition techniques. They will also learn how to edit an interview to tell the subjects story. This technique has wide use from commercial / promotional and or “about us” statements to documentary shorts and family stories. This class is a project based class (meaning you will produce a short video by the end of the class). Instructor: Richard Hawke

Pre-requisites: CCTV Orientation, Field Camera I, Edit I and a previously submitted project (please ask if you have questions)
