Johnnie joined the Youth Media Program in 2017. Since then, he has produced a number of videos on a range of important topics, including stereotyping and drug abuse. Johnnie has hosted a live show, produces a podcast, and works in a volunteer role as a Cablecast Intern.

This fall, Johnnie stepped into a Media Mentor position, and is assisting Youth Media Program participants as they create their first media projects. Johnnie spoke of his future goals:

"My aspiration in life is to become a therapist specializing in post childhood trauma with kids from the ages of 13-18, as well as become a radio personality. My experience at CCTV is great, and the Youth Media Program is preparing me to reach my goals by having me mentor the new students ........as well as making content like podcasting to create my own podcast 'Lose My Damn Mind.'"
