Live Programming Absence Policies

These policies are to ensure a high-quality program for you as producers, as well as for viewers at home:

• If you aren't able to come in for your show, you must notify the Programming Coordinator by phone, by email, or in person at least 24 hours in advance. In such a case, you may arrange for a pre-recorded show to be played in place of your live segment. Pre-recorded shows must be submitted at least 48 hours before your show time.

• If a producer misses 3 shows in a row, the show will be cancelled.

• If a producer misses more than 15% of scheduled LIVE Programs in a 12-month period, the show will be cancelled. Producers of weekly shows are allowed 8 absences, bi-weekly producers are allowed 4, and monthly producers are allowed 2

• If extenuating circumstances mean you need to miss your show for a longer period of time, you must get special permission from the Programming Coordinator. If you are unable to meet the requirements for new programs, you may arrange with the Programming Coordinator to reduce your schedule to fewer times per month at any time.
