Every week, CCTV runs new short programs in an unstoppable block of entertainment! Tune in to Ch. 8 every Sunday @ 5 PM & every Tuesday @ 6 PM for a chance to laugh, cry, learn, and be inspired! This week's NEW shorts:

  • "Sleep is for the Strong" Promo, a call for MIT students and alumni to participate in a documentary focusing on how students are treated at MIT by sharing their stories about challenges for students at MIT and their ideas for how student life can be improved. Produced by Sahar Hakim-Hashemi.
  • Siri-ously?!, a short, comedic film featuring Indu Kadambi engaging in an irreverent conversation with Siri about the many moods and questions of life. Produced by Indu Kadambi.
  • Mary's Window, featuring Kat Hughes interviewing her grandmother, Mary Hughes, about her life and her beautiful house and gardens. Produced by Kat Hughes.
  • NeighborMedia: Hollywood Comes to East Cambridge, a short, photo montage of the filming of "Black Mass" in East Cambridge, a film starring Johnny Depp as Whitey Bulger. Produced by Kristina Kehrer.
  • Upside Down Observations, a short, experimental observational documentary that features the world through an upside down perspective. Produced by Alain Mimran.
  • Coloring Coorain: Rare Ronnie Nordac, the newest episode of "Coloring Coorain" featuring rock star Ronnie Nordac making a rare TV appearance to reveal what is cool these days and how to deal with money, fame, and women. Produced by Coorain Devin.
  • 12 Steps of House Music, a short, instrumental, house music mix featuring an energetic dance circle bustin' a move! Produced by Erik Brown.

MA Gubernational Roundtable 2014: Joe Avellone
From January through March, Suffolk University's Rappaport Center held roundtables with each of the nine declared candidates in the 2014 Massachusetts gubernatorial race. In each episode, the candidates gave brief remarks, followed by Q&A and discussion. In this episode, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Joe Avellone says that his health care and business leadership experience make him the right prescription for the Bay State’s economic and educational needs. MA Gubernational Roundtable 2014: Don Berwick
From January through March, Suffolk University's Rappaport Center held roundtables with each of the nine declared candidates in the 2014 Massachusetts gubernatorial race. In this episode, Don Berwick cites his leadership capabilities as former chief of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services in the Obama administration and vows to make improved investments in education, transportation, health care and poverty alleviation his top agenda items if elected to the “Corner Office” later this year.
