Every week, CCTV runs new short programs in an unstoppable block of entertainment! Tune in to Ch. 8 every Sunday @ 5 PM & Tuesday @ 6 PM for a chance to laugh, cry, learn, and be inspired! This week's NEW shorts:
- PSA: Don't Talk or Text at the Movies!, a darkly comedic short public service announcement urging movie-goers to show more respect by not talking or texting in the theater while a film is playing. Produced by Programming Coordinator Chris Lawn.
- NeighborMedia: MLK Day of Service 2014, a short video chronicling the Many Helping Hands: 4th Annual Cambridge Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service, an event held on Monday, January 20, 2014, consisting of hundreds of volunteers coming together to work on projects that touch the lives of thousands in need in Cambridge. Produced by CCTV.
- Styled by Ranea, featuring Ranea showing off her hair styling talent and some of the things she's capable of doing with her hair. Produced by Ranea Riley-Walker.
- AVIUM, a short film by Christian Herold, produced as part of the Making the Digital Art Film class, featuring a mixture of live action and animation of birds attacking pedestrians. Inspired by the January 2014 event at the Vatican in Rome during which two doves released by children at a Papal ceremony were attacked by other birds. Produced by Christian Herold.
- Need a New Tony?, a comedic fake commercial urging viewers to "buy the NEW Tony" to meet any and all of their needs! Produced by Tony Valentino Cabral.
NEW SERIES! - BeLive: Spirituality with Eden
In this new weekly BeLive series, host Eden Bereket discusses spiritual matters, the occult, and general important issues and topics that matter to her in an effort to educate and inspire viewers.

Cambridge Uncovered is a quarterly studio series produced as a collaboration between CCTV’s production department and the NeighborMedia program. The program is designed to be an informative panel discussion touching on elements relevant to the Cambridge Community. This episode Cambridge Uncovered, titled Arts for the Ages, was shot on Friday, March 14th, 2014. Guests included Cinthia Pineda and Mohammad Sayed, participants in CCTV's Youth Media Program, and Peter DiMuro, Executive Director of the Dance Complex in Cambridge. Movie Of The Week: "Unfinished Task"
A touching and important story about faith, love, and the big choices in life. A son decides to forgo fame and fortune in order to fully embrace his Christian beliefs by joining a seminary, much to the chagrin of his wealthy father. With their relationship on the skids, both learn about themselves and each other in this emotional drama that mingles tragedy with hope and features a young Angie Dickinson in one of her earliest roles.

Saraswati Puja 2014 - Parts 1 & 2
Bishawjit Saha takes viewers on a journey through the 2014 Saraswati Puja, also known as the Basant Festival of Kites, a Sikh and Hindu festival held every year on the fifth day of Magha, marking the start of spring and the Holi season. On this day, Hindus worship Saraswati Devi, the goddess of knowledge, music, art, and culture. Produced by Bishawjit Saha.
