CCTV's Back Lot BBQ

CCTV's Back Lot BBQ

It’s back and bigger than ever – CCTV’s Annual Back Lot BBQ Fundraiser.

CCTV’s Back Lot BBQ is scheduled for Thursday, September 14, 2017! The BBQ will feature food grilled by local chefs, live music by Zili Misik, a silent auction, and the presentation of the new Rossi Award for Creative & Responsive Leadership. This year, the Rossi Award for Creative and Responsive Leadership will be presented to Cambridge Area Stronger Together (CAST), the Cambridge Public Library- Our Path Forward initiative, Indivisible Cambridge, MIT Day of Action and The Resistance School. These initiatives have activated local efforts to work for a meaningful and inclusive social justice agenda. Inductions to CCTV’s Honorary Board include Frontline Executive Producer Raney Aronson, Director of Cambridge Public Libraries Maria McCauley, President of Cambridge Community Foundation Geeta Pradhan, and Director of MIT’s Center for Civic Media Ethan Zuckerman.

It all happens in CCTV's back lot at 5:30 pm at 438 Massachusetts Avenue (entrance on Green Street between Brookline Street and Sidney Street).

As always, all funds raised through this year’s BBQ will support CCTV’s year-round Youth Media Program, which fosters healthy youth development by involving teens in activities that promote media art, career and leadership skills while exploring issues affecting our community.
