Cable Licensing Agreements
Cable Licensing Agreements
The City of Cambridge has issued a license to Comcast to provide cable services to the residents of Cambridge. The agreement requires that Comcast pay a franchise fee of 5% to the City for use of the public rights of way. Through an agreement with Cambridge Community Television, a portion of these revenues are given for the management of the public access channels.
The attached documents are the Cable License, a side letter having to do with the public, educational and governmental access channels, and the Agreement Between CCTV and the City.
