Promoting Elder Wellness in Your Community: Personal Health and Social Impacts of Opioid Misuse
Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 5 PM
Cambridge’s Council on Aging is hosting the public forum “Promoting Elder Wellness in Your Community... Personal Health and Social Impacts of Opioid Misuse” Thursday, June 14 from 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., at the Cambridge Senior Center, 806 Massachusetts Avenue.
As part of World Elder Abuse Awareness campaign, please join us for a performance with True Story Theater to increase awareness about opioid misuse in the community, and more specifically the challenges faced by older adults. Stories of actual challenges faced by older adults will be dramatized by the troupe. This program is presented by the Cambridge Elder Abuse Prevention Coalition and the performance was generously co-funded through a partnership with Somerville Cambridge Elder Services. The event was filmed by Moussou N'Diaye and was edited by Maya Valentine.
