This Week on CCTV: TV Highlights October 2 - 8

Dream Big takes place Tues. Oct. 3 at the Cambridge Public Library.

Join Maria McCauley, Director of the Cambridge Public Library, and members of the Board of Directors of the Cambridge Public Library Foundation for this special event. The guest speaker will be Timothy Snyder, Levin Professor of History, Yale University and Author of On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century and Bloodlands: Europe Between Hitler and Stalin. Callie Crossley, Host/Executive Editor of WGBH Radio’s “Under the Radar with Callie Crossley Show,” will guide the community discussion following Professor Snyder’s remarks.

Thursday Oct. 5 is World Teachers' Day

Celebrate with programming about teachers (of all sorts) - 12am-11am and 8-9pm on Channel 8. And, over the weekend with a marathon on Channel 9, Fri. Oct. 6 6-9pm, Sat. Oct 7 noon-midnight, and Sun. Oct. 8 12-4pm.
