CCTV's newest Primetime! Studio shoot features local band And Then There Was One

CCTV's Primetime! Beginning Studio course gets students started with using CCTV’s full production studio. The most recent shoot debuts this week. Produced by CCTV members Tanina Carrabotta, Boris Masis, Jaleel Ali Muhammad, Sydney Sherrell, Jennifer Ventura, Lars Wicklund, and Nick Perry, the show features live music and an interview with local band And Then There Was One.


On Channel 9, Saturday 4/9 at noon and again 8pm. And, on Channel 8 Sunday 4/10 and Tuesday 4/12 at 5pm and again Wednesday 4/13 and Thursday 4/14 at 11am.

More Primetime! studio shoots from 12:30-2pm, and again from 8:30-11pm. Stop Motion Animation projects at 2:45pm and 11:45pm.

Moving Image Portraits at 3pm; “ZipDocs” Projects – short Cambridge-oriented documentaries made by teams of producers with little to no experience – from 4:20-8pm; Short horror films at 11:15pm.

Johnny D’s closed its doors last month after forty-six years in business.

Local funk band Neon Grandma performed the last set at the famed concert venue – watch Last Call at Johnny D’s, a musical montage of the evening by NeighborMedia journalist Kristina Kehrer, on Channel 8 this week: Sunday 4/10 and Tuesday 4/12 at 5:30pm, and Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 4/13-4/15 at 11:30am.
