This week welcomes fall, with the autumnal equinox this Wednesday, 9/23. We're getting in the seasonal spirit with some spooky Halloween programs. On Tuesday, 9/22 just before 6am on Channel 9, watch last year's coverage of Halloween in Cambridge. CCTV took it to the streets to ask local kids hard hitting questions about their Halloween costumes and their favorite parts of trick or treating in Cambridge. Adorable answers ensue... stay tuned.

Then, watch last year's Halloween special from Oktoberfest 2014, in which locals recounted scary stories about all things that go bump in the night! Hear stories about real-life hauntings, Halloween memories, trick-or-treat traditions, and terrifying legends told by people of all ages and backgrounds right here in your own community. Catch it all on Thursday, 9/24 at 11:30am on Channel 9.

New video work by members airs each week on Channel 9 Sundays at noon (12pm), and on Channel 96 Tuesdays at 1pm and Thursdays at 9pm. This week:

Food For Free, a profile on the local food rescue organization located behind Cambridge City Hall, that delivers surplus food from local grocery stores and other locations to folks around Cambridge who are in need.

From NeighborMedia reporter Kristina Kehrer, These Boots Were Made For Walking, a conversation on the over-development and massive landscape changes in Cambridge, including the loss of longstanding, beloved businesses such as Berk's Shoes in Harvard Square.

And Empty Soul, a drama production by youth who attended the P.Y.M. Summer Arts Program this summer at Cambridge's First Holiness Church.
