CCTV Production Groups

Join Cambridge Uncovered production group!

Cambridge Uncovered is a production group hosted at Cambridge Community Television (CCTV) that produces monthly on-hour programing in collaboration with CCTV's NeighborMedia.
The Program is designed to be an informative panel discussion touching on topics relevant to Cambridge community.
Our production groups create opportunities for CCTV members to gain hands-on media making experience. We facilitate these groups so our members can get to know each other, brainstorm ideas and create collaborative bonds. Cambridge Uncovered focuses on studio productions by training new members in various aspects of studio production prior and during the shoot. The efforts of the members involved in group are supported by the production department from conception to completion.
Being involved in larger scale, thematic projects, such as Cambridge Uncovered, generates enthusiasm among members who normally may have not have gotten involved in production. The members of the group go on to become confident producers with valuable skills both in production and collaborative work.
We are currently looking for members who are interested in getting involved in the production of the program, including directors, technical directors, camera operators and sound facilitators. No experience in studio production is necessary. The crew will be trained on how to operate the studio prior to the shoot.
This is a great opportunity to get hands on production experience and to collaborate with other members at CCTV. If you are interested in becoming involved, contact Shirin at shirin@cctvcambrige.org or 617-401-4006.
