Cambridge Holiday Art Markets 2019

There are plenty of opportunities to purchase local arts and crafts gifts in Cambridge this December.

If your Holiday shopping list is still long and you want to shop local and support artists and craftspeople in our community, check out these markets over the next few weeks. You might even find something for yourself, as well!


Dec. 14 | 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.: Cambridge Holiday Market
St. Paul’s A.M.E. Church, 37 Bishop Allen Drive
The Cambridge Holiday Market will showcase an eclectic mix of 70 local vendors for your holiday shopping adventure. Featuring a curated mix of handmade giftable art and designer wares, home goods, jewelry, fair trade imports, specialty food, vintage, antiques and much more.


Open daily: Pop Central | 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
596 Massachusetts Ave.
A pop-up shop, from the Central Business Improvement District, that features vintage fashion, streetwear, music and art.

Dec. 10 – 15; Dec. 17 – 22 | Noon – 8 p.m.: Cambridge Arts Holiday Art Markets
Harvard Square Kiosk (formerly Out of Town News)

The kiosk, formerly the home of Out of Town News, reopens with the Holiday Art Markets, presented by Culture House and Cambridge Arts. This market will feature local Cambridge artists selling a variety of fine art and crafts. Stop by to see the newly redesigned community space within the kiosk and meet your local artists at this Creative Marketplace event.

Dec. 12 – 15 | 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.: Cambridge Arts Holiday Art Markets
Harvard University Smith Campus Center, 1350 Massachusetts Ave.

The Smith Campus Center will be lively with local artists, live music, and hot chocolate and treats during this Holiday Art Market, a collaboration between Harvard University and Cambridge Arts’ Creative Marketplace program. See the newly redesigned Smith Campus Center, and shop for unique fine art and crafts by local Cambridge artists.

Dec. 13 to 15; 19 to 22 | Harvard Square Holiday Fair | Weekdays 11:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Saturdays 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Sundays Noon – 6 p.m.
St. Paul's Church Hall, 29 Mt. Auburn St.

Running for 34 years, this holiday market features craft vendors from all across New England displaying a range of gifts. Head to Harvard Square to shop for that special something, ranging from homemade candles to antique books and unique art prints.
