Candidates for the special State Senate election on Sept 11, 2007 were invited to record a small campaign video as a courtesy to our viewers and voters in Cambridge. This daylong program offered free spots to all certified candidates in the special election for the Middlesex, Suffolk and Essex District. Paul Nowicki, Anthony Galluccio and Jeff Ross were able to attend. Unfortunately, Tim Flaherty was unable to attend the recording.

The participants in our Summer Media Institute youth program are so busy with their final projects that they never noticed the camera in the room. Our four edit suites and our public computer lab is seething with teenagers producing media from music videos to documentaries. Even in the busiest of times we hardly see our facility get the kind of use it has this morning. Their final screening is on August 10, so if you want to see what these teens produce then be sure you don't miss it.
