CCTV's Backyard BBQ is now just a week away! You can buy your tickets at the door, or you can purchase them in advance by visiting CCTV or our online store. Where else can you help yourself to a wide selection of the best Cambridge-area cuisine in one sitting?

At this year's BBQ, our volunteers will be serving up everything from Redbones' ribs to Four Burgers' veggie burgers, so come hungry and we guarantee you'll leave happy. Check out a full list of participating restaurants here.

There's only one place to win these items and many, many more: CCTV's Backyard BBQ on Thursday, Sept. 18th. The silent auction will begin at 5:30 p.m. and it will close at 7:30 that evening. Simon Shapiro, Founding CCTV Board Member

Simon Shapiro is the co-owner of TAGS Hardware, Porter Square, with his wife Margaret Moran. In addition to being a founding member of the Cambridge Arts Council and the Cambridge Bicycle Committee, he was appointed to the founding board of CCTV two years prior to the opening of the first studio at One Kendall Square. He is also an active member of the Rotary Club of Somerville.

Ellen Semonoff, CCTV Advocate and Advisor

Ellen Semonoff has served as the Assistant City Manager for Human Services for the City of Cambridge since 2004. Her responsibilities include leadership and day-to-day management of City’s twenty-one million dollar Human Services Department, including childcare programs, community and youth programs, substance abuse programs, services for homeless residents, workforce development programs, recreation programs, fuel assistance and summer nutrition programs, services to and programs for seniors and disabled residents.

Nancy Ryan, CCTV Advocate and Advisor

Nancy Ryan retired in 2006 as Executive Director of the Cambridge Women’s Commission after serving for 25 years. She was President of the Board of Directors of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Massachusetts from 2004 to 2008 and has been a member of its Board for 18 years. She lives in Cambridge.
