I am responsible for planning and implementing new technology and systems throughout our organization, from databases to websites to production gear. I get to wear a lot of hats throughout the year, so it's pretty cool. I like long walks in the snow and my favorite ice cream is vanilla.

For 25 years CCTV has provided a platform for members of our community to produce thousands of hours of programming that reflect the city’s ethnic, economic and political diversity. There is more to our community than what the networks show us each day and CCTV provides the tools and training to support the free speech that strengthens our society. We rely on donations from individuals, businesses and foundations to support our educational program. Computer classes for seniors and job seekers, media training and support for non-profits, technology training for our youth are all supported by generous individuals like you and our local business community. Please consider donating to CCTV today. Whether you are business looking to partner with us with underwriting support, an individual wanting to promote free speech in our city or a loyal member providing ongoing support, there are many ways to give. CCTV is a non-profit organization with 501 (C) (3) status and all contributions are tax deductible.

This year Cambridge Community Television turns 25. Something that was just an idea in 1988 has grown into a thriving media center that is recognized as the best of its kind in the country. We have quite a year planned for our 25th Anniversary. An array of special events and programming will help us celebrate in style and will provide unique and exciting opportunities for sponsorship. Help us spread the word to local businesses about this chance to not only reach a diverse cross-section of Cambridge residents, but also to join us in celebrating CCTV’s 25th Anniversary and the all that we have accomplished in the last 25 years. To talk about sponsorship opportunities, please contact Clodagh Drummey at 617 401 4005 or clodagh@cctvcambridge.org. 25th Anniversary Sponsorship Opportunities 25 YEARS IN 25 WEEKS RETROSPECTIVE: Starting July 1st, CCTV will dedicate a portion of our programming each week to each of the past 25 years. If you enjoy working on a team, getting random assignments, getting up early, staying up late, and even like some pressure, the come participate in this fun event. Our 14, 15, and 20 hour marathons were great successes, and this marathon will be even better. This is how the day will work: Participating teams should include at least one CCTV member in order to use CCTV's equipment. It is best that each member have worked on a production through CCTV, either in classes or with other members on contracted productions. Teams will have only 25 consecutive hours to produce a finished program. The production begins sharply at 11AM on April 27, 2013, for an introduction meeting and planning sessions. The deadline for finishing the program is 1PM on April 28, the public screening of the finished programs will take place at 6:00 PM in the CCTV studio and live on television. Teams will be assigned a few random production criteria to include in the final pieces, and beyond this teams will have full full creative control to design, plan, shoot and edit. Teams must produce a finished piece with a maximum running time of 5 minutes. In fact, teams will be provided with only one unit of...
