Massachusetts Governor-Elect Deval Patrick made an appearance on Cambridge Community Television's live programming and gave us the opportunity to record a short channel ID. In truth, we recorded this many months ago as Patrick had just begun his campaign for office and he recorded a number of spots for us, most of them contingencies, after appearing on Tyler Fox's program "Talking About the Law". It is an important moment for an access center like CCTV to have a new governor of the state make an appearance on CCTV's channels, especially at a time when state officials may be faced with with the reality of pending federal legislation regarding cable television franchising.
