Final Updates, Feb 26th

Following from the last meeting we had together, here's what I have done (based on my notes and your email).

-Adding a space for forms on the main programming page with links to the Cablecast agreement form, Belive form and CCR form.
-Adding a space encouraging people to send us feedback about our programs
-Creating new headings for Channel 9 page
- Creating similar headings for Channels 10, 22
- Add programming banner to submit page

Here's the live pages/drafts to review:

http://www.cctvcambridge.org/channel9 (live)
http://www.cctvcambridge.org/program_submit (live)

http://www.cctvcambridge.org/programming_0
http://www.cctvcambridge.org/channel_10_needs_content
http://www.cctvcambridge.org/channel_22_needs_content

Updates, Jan 5

Changes have been made to the channel icons and the banner.

It took me about two hours to make the word "channel" legible over the triangle. Now that it is easy enough to read it, do you think it looks right to have that word repeated in a visually stacked way?

Let me know what you think. I am going to attach an image of the previous icons, so you can see how it looked before.

Two Graphics Tasks To Do

A reminder from Clodagh about these tasks:

    * add channel in the arrow graphic
* CCTV replaces TV in banner

Planned for Week of Jan 7, to be done before Jan 11.

Updates, Dec 22

The programming pages is ready to go live, I think. This is the first of the two versions that we discussed. This one does not yet have live links from the image icons for each channel.

The image icons have been updated.

The set of links to related programming pages is updated.

Next: When I get a bit of text for a Channel 10 page and a Channel 22 page, then I will create those starter pages. When those pages are ready, then I can go back to the programming page and add links from the icons to all 4 channels!

Happy Holidays!

Updates on the Programming Web Page

Comments, 12/14

Looks good. Just one thing. I think I liked the way you had the links set up before on this page: http://www.cctvcambridge.org/node/753. Short phrases lined up next to each other with each phrase linking to a new page. What do you think?

Updates on the Programming Web Page

Comments, 12/11

The page is really coming along.

In response to your questions:

- Yes, I think we would like of the remaining sections on the programming page moved to new pages. Although the sections are small now, they may expand as we add more information and media.
- For right now, the Web Channel can remain linked to the various linked videos? (That may change as we work things through on our end"
-We don't have no new text for the Channel 9 page yet.... We can begin to think about next week.
-We do not need to do anything with the archived video right now.
-For now, you can also leave the Electronic Bulletin Board blurb off the page. I want to think more about where this should live.

Some additional thoughts:
- I think it might make sense to move the paragraph "Our full service..." so that its above the channel logos and descriptions.
- Also, I am wondering how it would look if we used the same arrow shape for channel 9, 10, and 22's logos....

Updates on the Programming Web Page

Kathy's Work Completed on Thurs Dec 7th

Updates to Programming Page -

http://www.cctvcambridge.org/node/753

removed sections from programming page:

CCTV Website

Online Archive

CCTV's Electronic Bulletin Board

added new links in channel listing:

Find out more > Channel 9 (new page)

Find out more > Web Channel (existing page)

created new graphic: web channel

Created New Page: Channel 9 -

http://www.cctvcambridge.org/channel9

Copied blurbs on BeLive and CCR Radio

added section "Watch Channel 9 Online" linking to Web Channel page

Questions for Feedback -
  read more...

Are there any corrections to what I implemented?

Do you want any of the remaining sections on the programming page moved to new pages? My thinking: It seems like the content that remains on teh page now is closely tied to the page banner "Get your show on CCTV!"

Conceptually, are there two things being called Web Channel: the live stream of Channel 9, and the various linked videos?

Do you have new text to use on Channel 9 page?

Is there a place to put the Web Channel links that were in the "Online Archive"?

Is there a place for the Electronic Bulletin Board blurb?

Updates on the Programming Web Page

Web Page Progress 12.1.06

The changes made on the banner look great!

For next week, our first priority should be having the content reorganized into sub pages. It may be worth thinking about linking the information about the web channel to the new web channel graphic or the description that will be adjacent to the graphic. Also, it would be nice to see some information about our BeLive and Cambridge Community Radio (which is currently on our production page) linked to either the channel 9 graphic or the description adjacent to the graphic.

As the pages become separated, the next step will be thinking about how to make the information more clear either by changing wording or breaking up the information with headings or bullets. Also then we can begin to think about how to jazz up the information by adding graphics and media.

Updates on the Programming Web Page
