Good news, I went to the cigar shop next to Ferranti, and I spoke with the manager Paul J. Macdonald. And he agreed to do an interview, however only over the phone. He dint want to be on the camera because it appeared he didn’t want to be caught in front of the camera with an awkward question. He also did not want to bad month Harvard, and that he still had to deal with his landlords. …He mentioned this entire all in one sentence…. to which I assured him it was light hearted and we here not looking to bad mouth anyone. He also mentioned that he did not really know the Ferranti’s to well, that he only meet them 4 times or so…but he was still willing to do a phone interview.
Now my question is, in light of what he said do we still want to pursue him as a potential interviewer? And if so…who can actually do the interview. He said he was available Monday afternoon 4 - 6. I am supervising the comp-labs on Monday and won’t really be available. His Phone number is 617.547.0576; the name of the store is Leavitt and Pierce.

I will be at CCTV on the afternoon of 11/13 but I don't think our first interview should be over the phone, just because I think it's going to be kind of awkward, and we really don't know how the sound will come out. Is there any chance of rescheduling? We have until maybe 11/30 at the latest, assuming that we do some last-minute editing in the last class?
Great that he is willing to be interviewed, even if over the phone. I don't think I can do tomorrow afternoon....
I must say that I am skeptical of a phone interview only because I have never done this for use in video production. This isn't to say that we shouldn't get whatever we can. I wonder if he would be available to do an interview that we can record on a better format, and not include video.
I will talk to Jason Crow tomorrow to see if we could facilitate some kind of interview at CCTV. I will be pretty busy Monday afternoon so I may not even be able to help.
I propose that somebody follow up and see if we could do and in-person interview sometime later in the week rather than a phone interview Monday at 4 p.m.
