Possible Plan for documentary

Here's a possible plan for the documentary.

The Boston Globe article talked about a couple of people performing two a capella songs during the closing. Hopefully we can get a recording of those songs.

Opening Sequence:
Pictures of the store, in different times and in different types of weather. Create a transition from old to new.
End with a picture of the "Going Out of Business" sign and place title over, under it?
Possible Title: "Ferranti-Dege: What We’ll Remember"
Use audio of 1st a capella performance over the images.

Interview Sequence
First Question:
Ferranti or Employee: Could you describe the layout of the store, items that you sold? Have those items changed over the years?

Intercut with pictures of the store in its prime, the store as it is now (try to match the locations, so that we fade from the darkroom as it was then to how it is now, but limit the number of "now" shots. Kind of boring to look at an empty room). Maybe include some pictures of old advertisements for defunct cameras or types of film.

Intercut with Customers talking about what they bought, what it was like to buy there. Try to get pictures of them talking to the owner, being friendly.

Interview Sequence
Second Question:
Ferranti or Employee: Why are you closing the store? (Kind of obvious, but needed for segue into closing sequence)

Closing Sequence:
Pictures, audio/video of the closing day, close with the 2nd a capella performance, fade to black, and then run credits, with the music playing over them.
