If you want to get out of the city for a day, on a Sunday afternoon, you may want to take the scenic route up to Vermont!

The Vermont Cheesemakers Festival will be held on July 25th at the lovely, sustainable working Shelbourne Farms, situated on Lake Champlain. Not only do you get a chance to try some fabulous cheese , wine, beer and specialty food items; you have the opportunity to meet with the producer and talk to them about their products and what goes into making them.

It's also a magical place to take the kids. They have a petting zoo and lot's of green open space to roll around in.
