Since January, the city and its consultants, in collaboration with the Advisory Committee, have been working to develop design concepts for the street. Please help by spreading the word about these public opportunities to participate in the redesign of Western Avenue and provide your feedback! Learn about traffic calming, improved pedestrian safety, cycle-tracks, back-in angled parking, opportunities for improved traffic signal timing, street trees, public art, and more. Construction is expected to begin next summer (2011).
