Zip Docs Topics?

Do you know of any people/places/things in Cambridge that are begging to be profiled?

We are soliciting potential topics for our Documentary Production: Zip Docs 021XX workshop. The students in Zip Docs produce a 3-5 minute documentary that is featured on CCTV's Media Map and channels. Past classes have produced pieces about 55 Magazine St., The Potluck Mural, Cambridge Co-Housing, and The Charles River White Geese.

If you have any subjects that you would like to see covered, post a comment below! And if you are interested in signing up for the Zip Docs workshop, please continue to check our class schedule to see when it will run again!

How about a survey of some of the modernist architecture in the area? There's a bunch along Harvard St between Prospect St and Harvard University.

My most recent, most interesting factoid about Cambridge lately is that it is surrounded by an eruv - a religious boundary that allows Jewish people to care for elderly people and children on the sabbath. It's literally a string that surrounds both Somerville and Cambridge that is "a real physical entity, albeit invisible to all but the trained eye."

If ZIP Docs doesn't do it, then I will.
