Cambridge in Colors and Light

When I got a Flip video camera as part of the NeighborMedia program at CCTV, I shot some clips while walking home and to work and back the next day just to see how the camera worked. I put the results onto my mac and looked at the results.

Pretty good picture for something the size of a cell phone. It's really hard to hold it steady while walking. I left the files alone for several days and then looked at them again and liked the shot of the bus shelter in Central Square with the colored plexi. I really like that and the similar covered walkway to the parking lot near Pearl. I've always liked looking at the world through rose and other colored glasses. It draws you right away from all of the usual reality and lets you imagine...

So I started playing with the video adjustment in iMovie and came up with some interesting images. I snipped and spliced together a crude idea of what it might be like if we had colored glass everywhere. Except under the bridge.

how much fun is this!! glad that you are enjoying playing with your flip camera! thanks for sharing the results.
