Para continuar conversando sobre el tema de los medios latinos de Nueva Inglaterra, hemos invitado a la joven periodista mejicana Marcela García, jefe de redacción del periódico El Planeta, cargo que desempeña desde Abril del 2007.

Marcela lleva diez años ejerciendo de periodista y ha escrito para varios periódicos entre ellos: The Dallas Morning News y el Boston Globe. Vino a Boston en el 2002 para hacer una maestría en periodismo y se graduó en el año 2005 de la Harvard Extension School.

Our next show features Marcela García who has been the editor of El Planeta since April 2007. She has over 10 years of experience in journalism, including stints at Grupo Reforma and The Dallas Morning News, both in Mexico, her native country; and as a freelancer writing for the Globe and other local news outlets. She moved to Boston in 2002 to attend the Harvard Extension School, where she received a graduate degree in journalism in 2005. Marcela holds a B.S. degree in Economics.
