CCTV Named #1 in the Country for the 9th Time!

CCTV has once again received the Overall Excellence in Public Access Programming award in the Alliance for Community Media's Hometown Video Festival! The award is given annually in three budget categories; CCTV competes in the highest category, for public access centers with budgets over $650,000. This is CCTV's ninth win. CCTV's website also received a first place award, as did youth media program participants Julie Pan for "Reality Check," Henry Hayes for "Little Cars," and Ranea Riley-Walker's "A Hero in Disguise." Project Documentary's "Nuclear on the Block" also placed first. There may be other CCTV winners announced this week, so stay tuned!

Congrats! -not surprising. Hope other access stations will take a page from your book and start making it happen in other communities.

Susan:

Congratulations to you and everyone associated with CCTV. This is well deserved.
