CCTV worked with Cambridge READS, a program of the Cambridge Public Library, to profile the local immigrant experience. The production accompanied the citywide book club's reading of "How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents" by Julia Alvarez. Ms. Alvarez shares her experiences on leaving her native Dominican Republic and arriving in the US along with local residents' stories of transition.
