
Cambridge Community Television is the public access television, cable radio, and computer multimedia center serving the extraordinary city of Cambridge, Massachusetts. Already voted best in the nation seven times, CCTV has high ambitions and we’re seeking a talented staffer to join our team.
Do you enjoy working with others to produce media? Are you committed to community media and ensuring that local issues and events are documented and shown on television?
We are seeking an energetic, ambitious, creative and mature individual to work 25 hours per week to organize television coverage of local issues and events, facilitate opportunities for CCTV members to assist in such productions, convene production groups and critique sessions, and to assist with our School Year Production Program for Cambridge teens.
If you have experience with digital video production including field recording, camera operation, Final Cut pro, and DVD authoring, are able to set goals, meet deadlines, produce deliverables and maintain a standard of quality that reflects the great work that CCTV does, we hope that you will apply.
The position requires excellent program development, mentoring, organizational, computer, and people skills. Prior experience in community media and working with youth and volunteers helpful, as is knowledge of Cambridge. $20 per hour; pro-rated benefits. Bilingual applicants strongly encouraged to apply.
