Hello to everyone in the Videoblogging Production course and others visiting online.

We had a very busy first class this evening! We reviewed the technology behind videoblogging, including RSS and Tags. Students set up accounts at cctvcambridge.org and blip.tv. We also watched Freevlog's video on how to "Get An RSS Feed" using Feedburner.com.

Hopefully, by next week everyone in the class will have had an opportunity to shoot their first video and upload it to their accounts at blip.tv. Students are also encouraged to come to our Web Media Help hours on Friday 3-6PM. During these hours, CCTV staff will be there to help you with uploading your video to blip.tv and cross-posting it to your blogs here at cctvcambridge.org.

The assignment for this week is to tell a story, 3 minutes or less, about a place in Cambridge that is important to them (thanks to SMI for the project idea!). I look forward to seeing your videos!
