Wed, 10/09/2008 2:00pm

Sound quality and a thoughtful mix of dialogue, music and effects are crucial to the overall impression made by any video production. The first part of this course will explore tools in Final Cut Pro that can be used to fix common audio problems. The second part will provide an introduction to the creative use of music and sound effects through example clips. Students will be shown how to create their own score with Apple's Soundtrack Pro, and will also be given additional sources for copyright-safe audio. Each part includes an in-class project.
