Social Media Workshops for Organizational Members

Based upon feedback from our very successful Social Media Breakfast for Non-Profits, CCTV is excited to offer two follow up workshops:

Introduction to Developing a Social Media Strategy for Your Non-Profit
Thursday, January 21, 9 AM-Noon

This workshop is designed to help you develop a social media workflow for your organization. Topics include: how to develop a communications strategy, how to generate followers and stimulate discussion, how to create a social media identity, how to manage your time, and how to measure success. Examples will be presented at every stage to help you envision a successful strategy using social media tools.

Introduction to Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and RSS for Non-Profit Organizations
Thursday, February 4, 9 AM-Noon

In this 3-hour workshop participants will gain hands-on experience using social media services, such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and RSS. Technical aspects will be covered including how to implement social media into your organization's existing blog or website. Participants are encouraged to bring logos, photos, videos, and other media to use in setting up accounts for their organization. The goal of this workshop is to help you feel more comfortable using social media to promote your organization and build community online. (This workshop is limited to 9 participants; if demand exists, another section will be added. Familiarity with Macintosh computers is suggested.)

· These classes are available to CCTV Organizational Access Members only. Forms and information about membership may be found here.
